The Volvo TP 21 was based on a light truck frame fitted with modified body of the Volvo PV830 taxi. The shortened wheelbase, extra large terrain tires and high ground clearance proved very effective in off-road conditions. The TP21 was produced during the years 1953-1958 for the Swedish Defense Force and used for over three decades (many as radio car).
