The Volkswagen Typ2/T2 German production stopped way back in 1979, but the model kept going in South America, and it’s still alive and well and rolling off a Brazilian assembly line. Danbury Motor Caravans, an enterprising business based near Bristol (UK), imports these vans and turns them into motor homes.
